Kimberly Marie Smith died February 27, 2021.  A memorial service will be held Friday, March 26, 2021, at Carrillo Funeral Home, 2615 S. Buckner Blvd, Dallas, Texas, at 5:00 p.m.  Visitation will be before the service beginning at 4:00 p.m.


Preceding her in death are her father, Gilbert Wayne Smith; grandparents, Finis C. and Donnie M. Liggett; step-father, James Pierce; grandparents Onis Otto and Dorothy Smith; nephew, Mikie Obrero.


Kimberly was born September 26, 1964, at Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. Surviving are her children Alan Brockelman, Amber Brockelman, and Adam Brockelman; mother, Marie Ann Pierce of Sherman, Texas; sisters Michelle Burton (Alan) of Denison, Texas, and Mary Kristen Stark of Sherman, Texas; six grandchildren  Aiden, Abagail, Amelia, Karizma, Ariana and Ava; and niece, Katelin, and two nephews, David and Michael.


Kimberly graduated from Grayson County College with an RN degree, and she was passionate about her career and all of the patients she cared for over the years. She dedicated most of her time in LND (Labor and Delivery) and to being a devoted single mother of three. She will be remembered as a caring nurse and strong, loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.
